Map Study - Central Europe.

  1. Color and label - in German!! - the map of central Europe. Box in the capital cities of these countries. Create a chart of the nations with the following headings. Use corresponding colors for your chart - use the same color you used for the country on your map for the country in the chart. Be neat.

Plurals of nouns - notes.

Project - book of plurals. Create a booklet of ten pages. Each page has a picture of a single item AND a picture or set of of the same items. Give the singular form of the object and the plural form of the object. Example: ein Radio, zwei Radios / eine Frau, drei Frauen . . . . find pictures this evening.

  3. Writing Assigment: Describe 7 family members. Examples:
    • Meine Schwester heißt Sandra. Sie wohnt nicht weit von hier. Sie ist sehr nett.
    • Mein Opa heißt Gerhard. Er wohnt in Hamburg. Er ist sehr intelligent.

    Review key adjectives to describe people. Students write these down in their notebooks.

  4. Notes: Formation of questions. Ja/Nein, questions, specific answer questions.
  5. Guided Practice: with above linked assignments.
  6. Independent Practice: Grammar workbook, pages 17 and 18.
  7. Close with vocabulary review.
